The payment account with basic services is available in LEI and allows the following operations:
- services that allow all the necessary operations for opening, managing and closing the account;
- fund deposits;

- payment operations through a payment card, including online payments;

Access to a payment account with basic services is not conditioned by the purchase of additional products/services.
Payment accounts with basic services benefit from preferential rates and commissions (according to Annex 1 Tariffs, Terms & Conditions to the Framework Agreement regarding the General Business Conditions for Individuals).
The payment account with basic services for financially vulnerable persons is addressed to clients who have a gross monthly income that does not exceed the equivalent of 60% of the average gross wage earnings for the economy, predicted in the latest macroeconomic forecast, respectively the autumn forecast, published by the National Forecasting Commission in the current year for the following year, or whose income from the last 6 months does not exceed the equivalent of 60% of the average gross wage earnings for the economy - currently the vulnerability threshold is 4,540 lei gross.
The criterion of financial vulnerability must be proven with supporting documents.
